About Miss BrownOriginally from Upstate New York, I attended the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. I earned my B.A. in History and B.S. in Secondary Education. I officially moved to the Berkshires after graduation, and continued my education at MCLA, earning an M.Ed. with a concentration in History. Before coming to St. Stan's, I worked at a K-8 Elementary School as a Teacher's Assistant, Long Term Substitute in Science and Social Studies, Special Education Assistant and regular substitute. In these positions, my focus was working with junior high students in Math and ELA. This will be my seventh year teaching at St. Stan's, and I am excited to be the 6th & 7th Grade Homeroom Teacher and to be teaching Social Studies and Religion for the 5, 6, 7 and 8th grades as well as Science for the 8th grade. I am looking forward to the continuing Achievement and Activity periods as well!
